Anne Arundel Indivisible is part of the national Indivisible movement. The day after the 2016 Presidential election some residents on the Broadneck Peninsula got together to move from emotion to action.  Since that time, the group has expanded, harnessing the inspiration and energy that has grown since the Trump inauguration.   Activists from across the county have joined forces to focus our efforts on political issues relevant to Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, and Maryland.

Our Mission and values

We started forming the day after the election, generally from the Broadneck Peninsula, but are expanding our membership across Anne Arundel County.

We are dedicated to act firm, but fair. Vocal but non violent. Dissenting, but not disrespectful.

We are focusing our efforts on State/County/City legislative issues as well as making an impact on elections across Anne Arundel County.

Our priorities are to support progressive issues as well as progressive candidates on:

  • Healthcare
  • Education Funding
  • Environmental Protection
  • Immigration protection
  • Religious freedom
  • Fair employment
  • Election reform
  • Racial Justice
  • Campaign Finance Reform
  • Criminal Justice Reform

We will encourage participation in National Rallies with an eye on the impact we could have mirroring those events locally.

We are all dissatisfied with the Trump Administration and want to be a catalyst for change. Some of that change can begin right here in Anne Arundel County.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
